Pro golf tournaments in Naples: dates, tickets and parking

Three pro events come to Tiburón Golf Club every winter: the LPGA's CME Group Tour Championship, the Grant Thornton Invitational and the PGA TOUR Champions' Chubb Classic. Here is when they are, how to get in, and where to park.

Naples gets three pro golf events a year, and all three are played at the same place: Tiburón Golf Club, the two Greg Norman courses at The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón. That makes planning simple. Same course, same parking lots, same short drive from north Naples.

CME Group Tour Championship (November)

The last event of the LPGA season, with a field made up of the year's top players from the season-long points race. The official site lists tournament week as November 16–22; the four competition rounds run Thursday to Sunday, with a pro-am on Wednesday.

Tickets: on sale now through the official site, with daily and weekly general admission, junior tickets and hospitality options like the Corona Premier Oasis. 2026 prices weren't posted on the official page when we checked. In 2025, daily general admission was $40, a four-day pass was $120, and juniors 17 and under got in free with an adult ticket. Current and former U.S. military get complimentary grounds tickets.

Parking: spectator parking is off-site with shuttles to the course. The 2026 lots hadn't been published when we wrote this. The other Tiburón events use church and school lots on Orange Blossom Dr and Livingston Rd, so expect something similar and check the official site before you go.

Grant Thornton Invitational (December)

This is the event many locals still call the Shark Shootout or QBE Shootout. It is now a mixed-team event: one PGA TOUR player and one LPGA player per team. The three rounds are a scramble, alternate shot and a modified four-ball. It's relaxed, fast and easy to follow from the ropes. Tournament week runs December 7–13, with competition Friday to Sunday.

Tickets: sold through the tournament site (via Etix), with upgraded hospitality and a military appreciation program. Prices weren't listed on the info page.

Parking: $10 per car, with shuttles to the course. Friday and Saturday general parking is Lot C at First Baptist Church Naples, 3000 Orange Blossom Dr. Sunday it moves to Lot D at Community School of Naples, 13275 Livingston Rd. Both are about 15 minutes from north Naples.

Chubb Classic (February)

The PGA TOUR Champions (50 and over) stop in Naples. Expect major winners and familiar names. The 2026 field included Davis Love III, Corey Pavin and Fred Funk. The official site lists February 8–14, 2027 as tournament week. Exact round dates hadn't been posted yet. In 2026 the pro-am was Thursday and the three tournament rounds were Friday to Sunday, so plan on February 12–14, 2027 for competition and confirm closer to the date.

Tickets: sold only at ChubbClassic.com and emailed as digital tickets. 2027 prices aren't out. For 2026, daily grounds tickets were $20 Thursday, $40 Friday and Saturday, and $50 Sunday, with a $100 weekly pass. Prices went up $5 during tournament week. Kids 17 and under get in free with a ticketed adult. Military and first responders get free grounds admission with ID, plus one guest.

Parking: off-site only, $15, with a free shuttle to the main entrance. In 2026 it was First Baptist Church of Naples (3000 Orange Blossom Dr) Thursday to Saturday and Community School of Naples (13275 Livingston Rd) on Sunday.

Where to play golf yourself

Most Naples courses are private, but a group can still play. A few well-known options:

Green fees swing a lot by season. Winter is the most expensive, and summer rates drop because of afternoon storms. Check the course or a booking site for your dates.

Stay at The Naples Retreat

Tiburón is about 15 minutes from the house. We sleep 13 across 4 bedrooms, with parking for several cars, a private saltwater pool and spa, and a fire pit for replaying the back nine.

Is the QBE Shootout still in Naples?

Yes, under a new name and format. It's now the Grant Thornton Invitational, a PGA TOUR and LPGA mixed-team event at Tiburón Golf Club, December 11–13, 2026.
